Summer Reading Program 2019

Hills Bank is proud to sponsor many Summer Reading Programs throughout the Eastern Iowa Corridor by partnering with our local schools grades K-12. Most programs begin at the end of May, just in time for summer break.

This year’s theme across the nation is A Universe of Stories™. The yearly theme is brought to us by the Collaborative Summer Library Program™, an association of states (including Iowa) which works together to provide high quality summer reading program materials for public libraries and those who frequent them. Here are a few local kickoff dates to remember:

Send any pictures from the Summer Reading Kickoff Events to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram pages using #SummerReading2019. We’d love to see a picture of you with Penny Bear, or see what books you’re reading. Happy reading!
