Security Notice: Bruegger’s Bagels Data Breach


Bruegger’s Bagels revealed that it had experienced a data breach between August 28, 2018 and December 3, 2018 that exposed some of their customers’ data including name, card number, expiration date, and card security code. A list of affected locations can be found in their official statement.

What should I do?

  • If you believe your card could be compromised by this breach, we strongly recommend you closely monitor your accounts online.
  • If you notice any unusual or fraudulent activity, turn your debit card off through Hills Bank Online then call 1-800-445-5725(HILLSBK).
  • If you have used your card at any of the affected establishments and would like to proactively have your card reissued, call 1-800-445-5725(HILLSBK).
