Any chance the finger print can ever be expanded to include Samsung Galaxy type phones as well?

    • Jennifer Eden Jennifer Eden says:

Thanks for the feedback! We are looking into how we can expand this across other devices. Thanks for reading Hills Helps.

  2. Mike Doherty says:

    Thanks very much for this.

While you’re rolling, any chance of getting the Hills Bank Debit Card set up to cooperate with ApplePay?

    • Jennifer Eden Jennifer Eden says:

Yes. We are in the process of getting our debit and credit cards compatible with Apple Pay. We are currently working with Apple along with our network provider and our processing systems to implement and certify Apple Pay by the end of the year. Please keep checking back on our blog and social media channels for more information as it’s available.

Regarding the instructions for enabling touch id to start the Hills Bank Mobile App.
If the touch id feature on your phone hasn’t been previously set up on the phone the “touch id” option will not show up when you go to the security preferences within the Hills app.
That was the case for myself. On a guess I went to the phone preferences and enabled the finger print option. Then when I went back to the Hills Mobil App. the “Turn on touch id” option was present. I followed the directions from there and it worked.
    Thank you,
    Dave Huston

Thanks for this note, Dave. I was having the same issue. Now I get the option to “Enable Touch ID” on the app, but it will not let me get past the authorization with my Log In and Password.

        • Jennifer Eden Jennifer Eden says:

          Hi Wendy,

Once you see the option to “Enable Touch ID” on the app, a pop-up should appear asking you to obtain your fingerprint. If that doesn’t show for you, or if we could help walk you through the process to help troubleshoot, please call our Customer Contact Center at 1-800-445-5725 (1-800-HILLSBK) during business hours, which are M-F 8am-5:30pm and Saturday from 8-noon.
