Things to Do In the Corridor: May & June 2018


After a long winter season and a slow-to-start spring, many are ready to get outside and explore our local communities. There are many things to do throughout the Corridor this Spring and Summer, so mark your calendars!

Relax after a long week to live music by local and national bands. Visit the link above for details on who will be playing when.

Washington Ridiculous Day
Saturday, June 2nd
Celebrate the 70th year of Washington’s annual event with family games, a parade, food vendors, and more!

Cedar Rapids Freedom Festival
Thursday, June 14th – Wednesday, July 4th
There are many events happening during Cedar Rapids’ three week celebration for our nation’s birthday. Check out the link above for a breakdown of all that’s going on.

North Liberty Blues and BBQ
Saturday, June 16th
Enjoy great music, lots of food, and local Iowa brews at North Liberty’s annual event. Family-friendly activities happening all day.

Linn County Fair

Molly Brown is Vice President, Commercial Banking at Hills Bank’s Coralville location. She has been at Hills Bank since 2012 helping small businesses and individuals with their banking needs. Molly has two daughters and a black lab named Junie B. She is an active volunteer in her community, serving on boards with Junior Achievement, Old Brick, Housing Trust Fund of Johnson County, and Team Breast Friends.
