Summer Reading Program 2017

Hills Bank is proud to sponsor many Summer Reading Programs throughout the Eastern Iowa Corridor by partnering with our local schools grades K-12. Most programs begin at the end of May, just in time for Summer Break.

This year’s theme across the nation is Build a Better World™. The yearly theme is brought to us by the Collaborative Summer Library Program,™ an association of states (including Iowa) which works together to provide high quality summer reading program materials for public libraries and those who frequent them. Here are a few local kickoff dates to remember:

Send any pictures from the Summer Reading Kickoff Events to our Facebook or Twitter pages using #SummerReading2017. We’d love to see a picture of you with Penny Bear, or see what books you’re reading. Happy reading!
