Microsoft Discontinues Support of Windows XP and Office 2003

Windows XP

Effective April 8, 2014, Microsoft will discontinue support of Windows XP and Office 2003. If your organization has not started the migration to a newer version you will want to soon. To ensure you remain on supported versions of Windows and Office, you should begin planning and application testing immediately to ensure you deploy before end of support.

After April 8, 2014, there will be no new security updates, non-security hotfixes, free or paid assisted options or online technical content updates. Running Windows XP and Office 2003 in your environment after their end of support date may expose your company to potential vulnerabilities.

If you are currently using Windows XP or Office 2003, please consult your local computer support technician to begin your migration process. Additional information can be found at microsoft.com/en-us/windows/endofsupport.aspx.
