Join us in Celebrating Ag Month this March!

Join us in Celebrating Ag Month this March!

Agriculture is intertwined with our history, heritage, and values, and remains an important part of our culture today. That’s why we have created an annual tradition every March to celebrate spring and agriculture with Ag Month events. We hatch baby chicks in our lobbies in anticipation of new life and all the good things that agriculture provides us. Life’s new beginnings each spring portray Mother Nature at her best. We look forward to these fun events:

Lucky Egg Prize Winners
Starting March 1, stop by your local Hills Bank location and choose the numbered egg you predict will hatch first and you could be a LUCKY prize winner! (No purchase or account required to enter or win. Need not be present to win.)

Baby Chicks

Baby Chick Hatchings
Baby chicks are scheduled to hatch the week of March 16th for Johnson and Washington Counties, and the week of March 23rd for Linn County locations. After they hatch, they are taken to a good home on a local farm within the Corridor.

Visit the following locations for a barnyard day celebration! You’ll see many different animals and maybe even pet a few. Be sure to bring a camera too!
